Before you float

BEFORE YOUR FLOAT

   Prepare for the ultimate ’MeTime’!

  • Allow yourself at least 90 minutes to enjoy your float session.

 

  • Avoid shaving for 10-12 hours (ladies) and 5-8 hours (men) before floating to avoid any stinging. Ouch!

 

  • Avoid caffeine and nicotine before your float session so you can relax.

 

  • Avoid caffeine, alcohol or other stimulants at least 2-3 hours before your float to ensure you can completely relax & switch off. 

 

  • Avoid eating big meals before your float. We recommend you eat a light meal a couple of hours before you arrive.

 

  • Remove contact lenses prior to floating. Remember to bring a case/solution to keep them safe.

 

  • Avoid extreme sun tanning prior to floating. The water is extremely salty, it could be painful!  

 

  • Fake tan? Please wait at least a week after application before floating.

 

  • Avoid hair products and make-up, as they will need to be showered off before you float!

 

  • Fresh tattoos? Wait at least 10 days before floating.

 

  • New hair colour? Please leave it a week before you float

 

  • Menstruating on your scheduled appointment date? Please contact us to reschedule.

                         

  • Physical activity prior to your float session enhances your overall experience to recover and relax.

 

  • Bring swimwear if you’re unsure, but floating in your Birthday Suit is recommended.

 

  • We have all the floating essentials covered, just bring an open mind and get ready to relax like never before!
